The Nab’a Al-Hayat Foundation has been working to improve oral health in Iraq through a range of programs and initiatives, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, WHO, and FDI. As part of these efforts, the foundation has played an important role in the following areas:

Prevention and education: The foundation has organized campaigns and educational programs to promote good oral health habits, including regular brushing and flossing, and to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. These programs have targeted both the general public and healthcare providers.

Screening and treatment: Nab’a Al-Hayat has provided screening and treatment services for common oral health problems, such as cavities and gum disease, as well as more complex conditions, such as oral cancer. The foundation has also worked to ensure that individuals have access to essential dental care services, including extractions and fillings.
Translation of FDI 2030 Vision for Oral Health: Nab’a Al-Hayat has supported the translation of the FDI 2030 Vision for Oral Health into Arabic, making it more accessible to healthcare providers and policymakers in Iraq. This document outlines a global vision for oral health, highlighting key areas for action and providing a framework for improving oral health outcomes.

Publications on dental services and dentistry in Iraq: Nab’a Al-Hayat has published several reports and papers on the current state of dental services and dentistry in Iraq, as well as future opportunities for improvement. These publications have helped to inform policy and practice, and to promote evidence-based approaches to improving oral health outcomes.
Collaboration with Ministry of Health, WHO, and FDI: The foundation has worked closely with the Ministry of Health, WHO, and FDI to develop and implement oral health programs in Iraq. This collaboration has enabled the foundation to leverage the expertise and resources of these organizations, and to ensure that its programs align with global best practices and standards.
